On 11 March, Life-Nitrazens took part in the INTERLIFE2026 workshop, a networking event organised by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge for LIFE projects.

The INTERLIFE 2026 Conference – A networking and experience-sharing event was held on 11 March 2026 at the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO/MITERD) in Madrid, designed to enable projects funded by the LIFE 2021–2027 programme to share lessons learnt, build contacts and explore future collaborations. According to the participating organisations, the main focus was on two topics of particular relevance to LIFE: the sustainability of projects once funding ends and their replication or transfer to other territories and contexts.
The initiative was organised by the LIFE Programme’s National Contact Point in Spain, following the model of national meetings already held in other countries such as Portugal and Italy. During the session, best practices were presented, along with recommendations from the Portuguese contact point, success stories of LIFE projects in Spain, and a networking session aimed at finding new partners.
The meeting was attended by around a hundred participants, including coordinators and representatives of LIFE projects from the sub-programmes on the environment, climate action and energy transition, as well as technical staff from government bodies, foundations, universities and other organisations linked to ongoing projects, representing some 70 organisations and projects from across Spain.
