
The Aragon Agrifood Research and Technology Center (CITA) is a public institution under the Department of Employment, Science, and Universities of the Government of Aragon.
Its primary goal is to conduct high-quality scientific research. Its key areas of research include improving and optimizing agrifood production, conserving genetic resources, and developing sustainable agricultural systems. CITA is an Aragonese public entity dedicated to high-quality scientific research in the agri-food and environmental sectors. Its Department of Environment, Agricultural and Forest Systems is a leader in the sustainable management of water and soil.

In life-Nitrazens, our primary role is to lead Work Package 4 (Behavior Change Strategies for Nitrate Pollution Mitigation). This involves conducting a needs assessment, developing specific guides on best management practices, delivering training workshops, and implementing feedback and decision-support systems for policymaking. Additionally, we will actively participate in the evaluation and data collection plan using citizen science.
